ONBOARDING COORDINATOR

Location: Basco Shower Enclosures Headquarters - 7201 Snider Rd, Mason, OH 45040

Reports to: Director of Manufacturing

Description Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Manufacturing, the Onboarding Coordinator engages with new hires and temporary employees on 1st day and throughout the first 90 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up key introductions: Director of Manufacturing, Supervisor, and Lead on new hire's first day
  • Tour of factory on new hire's first day
  • Provide supplies, safety equipment for position on new hire's first day
  • Buddy/Mentor, etc./ phone number of onboarding person
  • Facilitate training, lifting instructions, general safety during first week
  • Daily general contact with associate
  • Answer questions and get back to the right people as needed
  • Monitor attendance
  • Provide daily feedback
  • Give feedback and information on production goals, progress from lead, issues, etc.
  • Reinforce wage ladder
  • Other duties as assigned
